Tashi Palkhiel,Pokhara:\u00a0 From 18 August to 20 August 2025, Tashi Palkhiel settlement in Pokhara, Nepal, observed a handing-taking over ceremony between new settlement officer Passang Wangdu and outgoing settlement officer Tashi Tsetan.<\/p>\n

TSO Karma Sopa Thinley from Lodrik Tibetan settlement\u00a0served as the official witness, overseeing the formal transfer between the outgoing and incoming officers.<\/p>\n

During the ceremony, official documents, stationery, and maps of the three local Tibetan settlements \u2014 Tashi Palkhiel, Dhorpatan Norzinling, and Lo-Tserok Namgyaling \u2014 were formally handed over to the new Settlement Officer, Passang Wangdu.<\/p>\n

On 19 August, the new and the outgoing settlement officers visited the localities of Tashi Palkhiel settlement and Tibetan Handicraft Centre. The new settlement officer was passed on with the complete financial accounts of the four administrative units under Tashi Palkheil settlement: The Settlement office, Tibetan Handicraft Centre, Dorpatan Norzinling Settlement, and Lo-Tserok Namgyaling Settlement.<\/p>\n

On 20 August, a public gathering was held at Tashi Palbar Hall, where both officers addressed the local community. In his farewell speech, outgoing officer Tashi Tsetan reflected on his two years and nine months of service, expressing heartfelt gratitude for the support received from colleagues and community members.<\/p>\n

Incoming officer Passang Wangdu pledged to serve the community with sincerity and integrity during his tenure.<\/p>\n
